To simplify your workflow and provide you with more creative options out-of-the-box, the Vision Game Engine ships with a wide range of integration plug-ins for popular 3rd party middleware solutions:

Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya and FBX

Autodesk 3ds Max and Maya software provide powerful 3D modeling, animation, rendering, and compositing tools that enable artists and designers to more quickly ramp up for video game, film and visual effects production. The Vision Game Engine provides powerful, state-of-the-art exporters for the latest versions of Max and Maya. Among other features, the exporters can export both static geometry and animated characters, including skeletal animations, vertex animations, and morph targets. Autodesk FBX asset exchange technology facilitates higher-fidelity data exchange between several Autodesk content creation packages.

CriMovie

The Vision Game Engine provides an integration to CRI Movie2, CRI Middleware's next-generation movie playback engine. CRI Movie2 provides unrivaled movie quality, support for all next-gen platforms and hi-def movie playback via a component-based architecture.

FMOD Ex

The FMOD Ex Programmer's API is a world-leading library for the creation and playback of interactive audio and the winner of the 2008 Frontline Award for Best Audio Tool. FMOD has established support for the largest range of platforms and has recently been bundled free-of-charge into the Vision Game Engine.

Fork Particle

Fork Particle is the leading real-time particle effects middleware for video games. The Fork Particle SDK and Trinigy´s Vision Game Engine integration is an out-of-box solution for runtime and scene editor vForge which lets you forgo programming considerations and enables focus on content development. Artists can easily create fantastic particle effects with the Fork Particle Studio effects editor. The runtime integration is cross platform and utilizes the Vision Game Engine´s runtime multi-threaded architecture.

Havok Physics™

Havok Physics™ is the proven leader in real-time collision detection and physical simulation solutions. Havok Physics offers the fastest, most robust simulation technology available, which is why it has become the gold standard within the games industry. Havok Physics has been chosen by leading game developers in over 200 launched titles and hundreds more in development.

IKinema™

IKinema is a new-generation full-body solver that allows effortless run-time control of ANY character during game play to achieve full adaptation to the scene for a truly new run-time game animation experience. Bones can be manipulated by specifying position, orientation and force tasks and the full-body solving produces natural and life-like motion. IKinema supports retargeting and blends animation with IK constraints. IKinema supports Centre of Gravity control and balance in the full-body solution. IKinema is fast and can control dozens of characters for truly new game experience.

Kynapse AI

Kynapse for games is the most widely used A.I. middleware within the game development community and brings innovation like 3D dynamic topology analysis and efficient production tools for automatic path-finding to the Vision engine. A Kynapse plugin and multiple Kynapse engine samples make it easy to start working with Kynapse AI and Vision.

Mixamo

morpheme™

NaturalMotion´s morpheme™, is the industry´s first graphically authorable animation engine designed to give animators full control over the look of their animations in-game by allowing them to author and preview blends, blend trees and transition graphs in real time.

Perforce

To assist in efficient asset and software configuration management, including multi-user file editing and versioning, the Vision Game Engine integrates with Perforce. Perforce provided game development studios with a high performance architecture that scales with the growth of studios from two users to 8,000+. Perforce supports sites with millions of changes and terabytes of versioned data.

PHENOME

PHENOME is takomat’s middleware for dynamic real-time 3D-character animation in games and for virtual moviemaking. PHENOME is a real-time synthesizer for emotional character behaviour including facial and full body animation. PHENOME generates behaviour with physio-psychological models for automatic animation and procedural animation that is scripted in PHENOME’s high-level behaviour markup language. Game Developers using the Trinigy Vision Engine can now let their game characters talk, look, act and show emotions with facial expressions and body language in real-time. PhysX™ by NVIDIA

PhysX™ is one of the premier physics solutions. The PhysX™ integration provided as part of the Vision SDK allows you to easily add ultra-realistic physics to your application. You can interactively test and tweak physics settings in vForge´s "Play The Game" mode directly in the scene editor.

RakNet

RakNet is a C++ game networking engine designed for ease of use and performance. Features include object replication, remote procedure calls, patching, secure connections, voice chat, and real-time SQL logging. RakNet has been shipped on the PS3, XBOX 360, Windows, Windows CE, Linux, Mac, and iPhone among others. RakNet 4.0 is bundled into the Vision Engine free of charge, enabling game developers to more efficiently implement advanced networking functionality in any type of game, on any platform, at no cost.

Scaleform GFx

Scaleform GFx is a high-performance media Flash® vector graphics engine. Using Scaleform GFx, companies can change from a programmer-centric static UI development environment to an artist-driven dynamic UI and animated texture production pipeline.

SilverLining

SilverLining renders the sky and everything in it. Add physically-based 3D volumetric clouds, skyboxes, outdoor lighting, and weather effects to your scene in minutes. Just specify the time, location, and weather conditions you want, and SilverLining does the rest for your DirectX9-or DirectX11-based application. Dynamic, physically realistic time-of-day and weather effects are made simple for your game or training application. SilverLining is now integrated directly into the Vision Game Engine's scene editor, vForge.

SimulWeather

The award-winning Simul Weather SDK allows game developers to generate volumetric weather systems with clouds that grow and change in real time. The integration with the Vision Game Engine allows developers to access its core features from within Vision's scene editor vForge, where they have full control of all aspects of weather effects and rendering.

SpeedTree Vegetation Rendering

The de facto standard for rendering realistic tree and vegetation is available as a plugin for the Vision Game Engine. This makes it very easy to add rendering of complete forests to your application without long development time or sacrificing performance. Populating whole forests is a matter of a few mouse clicks with our WYSIWYG editor vForge.

Substance

Substance is the only middleware solution dedicated to texturing. It includes Substance Redux, the ultimate compression tool for texture and Substance Air, the next generation middleware aimed at creating and managing a new kind of lightweight, dynamic and infinitely versatile textures. Substance is the ideal solution for games that have a limited bandwidth for content download and a need for a huge amount of high-quality assets.
